Today was a travel day, we left Helena, Mt for Cody, Wy with a scheduled shopping stop at Bozeman, Mt a regionally renowned western cobbler's shop Carter's Boots. Kailyn has been considering a pair of everyday boots for some time to help protect her from the extremes in Nebraska elements. We stopped at Carter's Boots first with the aid of Jeff and his staff Kailyn made her preliminary selection, Kailyn asked to place the boots on hold. We asked Jeff the shop owner who his competitors were, he responded "My business caters to the working person who makes his/her living in their boots and/or using other leather goods (saddles, bridles and the like). I don't have any competitors within 150 miles." However here are two other places in town that carry boots". After an hour checking Bozeman's other boot vendors, the girls quickly returned and finalized their purchase. We appreciated Jeff and his staff knowledge, products, honesty, integrity, service (accommodating our minor fitting needs on the spot). Nothing compares to the services provided by a small family run business.
THANKS Jeff, to a job well done!

We stopped 15 miles outside of Cody, Wy for pic's in the late afternoon sun of "Dead Indian Summit". The first few are at a distance, later I shot a couple of close up's.
